Hi, I'm Bobak!
My name is Bobak. I'm an Iranian-American full-time Filmmaker & Photographer. I have had the great privilege of traveling and photographing over sixteen countries around the world including Iceland, Italy, Ireland, France, Turkey and many more.
I believe that my work captures the feeling of awe I experience when I submerge myself in novel urban and natural environments and conveys the humility I feel when I delve into the unsurpassable beauty of people’s everyday lives and interactions.
Received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Film & Digital Media Production at University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC).

When I'm not working, I'm spending most of my time with my dog Aspen! I adopted him from the shelter when he was a puppy, he's been my best friend ever since. I love to be outdoors, hiking, backpacking, and snowboarding are a few of my favorite things!

How to book a session?
Step I

Step II
You'll make a deposit online to reserve the time and date. I'll give you location ideas, and help create a super fun experience!

Engagement Day Tips
Every couple that is planning their wedding should consider an engagement photo shoot to commemorate this super exciting time in life. Here are some helpful tips!
What should I wear?
I always recommend earthy tones, and to avoid bright colors.
Lighter colors are usually the way to go! White, Pale yellow and pale blue work well, especially with jeans or kaki pants. These colors work great in nature. I want you to be comfortable, so let your personality show!
Steam or iron the outfits ahead of time.
Should I bring anything to our session?
Bring anything that might be meaningful to your relationship. Example: Guitar, Books, Coffee Mugs, etc.
What type of shoes should I wear?
Definitely wear your best shoes during your photo session, but consider bringing a pair of walk-around/hiking shoes as well.
Can I bring my dog/pet?
Fur babies are always welcome to join the shoot.
What time should we schedule our session?
I always recommend about an hour or two before sunset. We get beautiful natural lighting during those hours.
We've never taken photos before, can you help?
I describe my style as documentary, which means I'll be capturing the moment as we get to hang out and know each other better. I'll help out with posing, and all the other things to make it a super fun experience that you will remember for a lifetime!
