This was probably the most interesting photography engagement session that I got to capture this year. Originally Andrew reached out to me and told me that he was planning on surprising his girlfriend with a ring.
We set everything up in advance and were planning on meeting somewhere at Garden of The Gods so I could capture their special surprise proposal. On the day of our session I got a message from Andrew telling me that his truck had been stolen with the ring inside his car.
I was shocked and sad to hear the news, this was the first time I was hearing about car thieves here in the Springs, and it was such a bummer that it happened to them on this special day.
Good news is that they were able to find the car, and the ring a few hours after it was stolen and made it to our session. Lauren had found out about the ring at this point, but it was still awesome capturing their love together.
