About Bobak Radbin | Colorado Elopement & Adventure Photographer
I was born in the U.S. and spent much of my life moving between here and abroad, surrounded by mountains, culture, and adventure. Those experiences taught me to see beauty in people and places everywhere I go.
Today, Colorado is home. It’s where I help couples plan and capture authentic, stress-free celebrations in nature, filled with real laughter, emotion, and connection.
Whether it’s an elopement in the Rockies, an engagement at Garden of the Gods, or a quiet mountaintop vow exchange, my goal is simple. I want you to feel comfortable, present, and free to be yourselves.
“Bobak made us feel as if we’ve been friends since a long time ago! He made the experience magical, me and my now fiancé (he captured my proposal) are so thankful with all the details and our pictures turned out stunning!! Thanks to you we have a lifetime memories!”

How I Help Couples Plan Stress-Free, Meaningful Elopements in Colorado
I help couples plan meaningful, low-stress celebrations and then photograph them honestly—no stiff posing, just natural moments in epic landscapes. (Curious what that looks like? Explore my Colorado Elopement Packages or browse the Colorado Elopement Guide for planning tips.)

Between Two Worlds
I was born in Texas, but I spent most of my childhood in Tehran, Iran, surrounded by family, history, and a way of living that taught me to slow down and appreciate the little things. Those years gave me a grounded perspective and a real appreciation for people and their stories.
I’ve spent big pieces of my life on both sides of the world. Iran shaped my roots and taught me resilience. California and later Colorado opened my world and gave me space to grow, explore, and build the life I wanted. Each place feels like a different chapter of the same story, and all of it comes with me into the work I do today.
I have been through a lot in life, and I am genuinely grateful for all of it. The hard seasons made me softer, stronger, and more present. I like to say I am a millionaire at heart. That kind of wealth matters more to me than anything you can buy.

A Life of Adventure
Travel has always been a part of me, and I feel grateful for the chance to see so many places from a young age. I grew up curious about the world and interested in how people live, think, and connect in different parts of it.
I have visited 19 countries so far, and each one taught me something new. I love trying different foods, learning from people whose lives are nothing like mine, and wandering places that make me feel small in the best way. Travel humbles me. It slows me down. It reminds me how big the world is and how much there still is to explore.
Over time I learned that I don’t need status or noise to feel happy. I want good people, meaningful work, quiet mornings, a warm roof, and the freedom to choose my next adventure whenever life allows.
Why I Photograph
I fell in love with photography the first time I developed a roll of film in the darkroom at UC Santa Cruz. Watching an image slowly appear under the red light felt like magic. It opened something in me. I realized how much I loved cameras, light, storytelling, and the way a single frame can hold real emotion.
Over time I learned that what I love most isn’t just the art, it’s the people. I love meeting new faces, hearing their stories, and being let into moments that only happen once in a lifetime. Weddings, elopements, proposals, family milestones. These are days people dream about for months or years, and I get to stand there with them, fully present, documenting everything honestly and quietly.
I photograph because it brings me joy. Every time I lift the camera, I’m grateful to be invited into someone’s world and trusted to turn their memories into something real. Being part of those moments is a privilege I never take lightly.

My Dog Aspen
When I moved to Colorado Springs, I adopted Aspen from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, and he changed my life in ways I never expected. He’s my best friend, my trail buddy, and my everyday companion. I’m a single guy who loves my freedom, my travels, and exploring the world. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours, and I’m proud of it.
Aspen has taught me more about life than most people ever have. He taught me patience, joy, and how to stay present. He reminds me to get outside, breathe, play, laugh, and not take things so seriously. We both love winter, snow, and the mountains. I always say he saved me just as much as I saved him, and I mean that.
He’s a mix of 15 different breeds with a strong Siberian Husky heart, full of personality, energy, and love. Aspen is family, and he means everything to me.

“Bobak kept conversation and made the transitions from picture to picture easy. There wasn’t a awkward moment. He had us laughing and smiling throughout the photos. Very genuine and down to earth. Our pictures are AMAZING! We are having a hard time deciding which one we want to hang on the wall with our wedding pictures. 5/5 recommendation, you won’t be disappointed.”

Global Adventures That Shape My Photography
I feel incredibly lucky that travel has taken me to 19 countries, from the waterfalls of Iceland to the markets of Guatemala, from the Mediterranean coast of Italy to the green trails of Ireland. Every place has taught me something new about people, landscapes, and the beauty of shared experiences.
That sense of exploration is the same energy I bring into your elopement or proposal. Whether we’re hiking deep into the Colorado mountains or celebrating in a faraway destination, you’ll have a photographer who knows how to adapt with ease, plan with care, and find beauty anywhere. My travels remind me every day that love stories deserve to be captured in a way that feels honest, adventurous, and deeply personal.
“This was a highlight of our trip to Colorado Springs! Bobak was so fun, kind, and talented. He showed up early, picked beautiful spots for us to shoot, and had fun facts about the Garden of the Gods. This experience is worth every penny. So thankful to meet him!”

My 14er Journey | Adventures at Altitude
Colorado is home to 58 peaks over 14,000 feet, and I’ve already climbed 7 of them with my camera on my back. Being in the mountains teaches me resilience and reminds me to stay calm no matter what the weather does. That same energy is what I bring into every story I photograph.
I’m there to guide, support, and help you stay grounded so you can enjoy every moment. I take care of the little things, pay attention to the light, read the weather, scout the right angles, and make sure you feel comfortable and present. You get to be yourselves. I take care of the rest.
YOUR JOURNEY, BEAUTIFULLY CAPTURED

I’ve shared part of my story here, but now I want to hear yours. What matters most to you? What kind of experience do you want to create?
