Valentine’s Day Session FAQ

What if the weather is bad?

Colorado weather can be unpredictable. If conditions are unsafe or truly unpleasant, we’ll reschedule for the next available day or move to a sheltered spot within Garden of the Gods. I’ll guide the call so you don’t have to stress about it.

 

What should we wear?

Neutral, earthy tones photograph beautifully at Garden of the Gods. Think creams, tans, olive, denim, soft blacks, or warm browns. Avoid busy patterns or large logos. If you want help, I’m happy to give quick outfit feedback.

 

We’re awkward on camera. Is that okay?

Totally okay. Most couples feel that way. I’ll guide you naturally throughout the session so nothing feels stiff or forced. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do.

 

Can we bring our dog?

Yes. Dogs are welcome on leash at Garden of the Gods. I’m happy to incorporate them naturally into your session.

 

Is this good for surprise proposals?

Absolutely. I’ve photographed many surprise proposals at Garden of the Gods. If you’re planning to propose, let me know ahead of time and I’ll help you choose the right spot, time it naturally, and keep everything discreet.

 

How long is the session?

Sessions are 30 minutes. That’s plenty of time for a relaxed experience and a variety of photos without feeling rushed.

 

How many photos will we receive?

You’ll receive 25 or more professionally edited images delivered via an online gallery.

 

When will we get our photos?

You’ll receive your full gallery within 7 days. If you need a few images sooner for an announcement or proposal, just let me know.

 

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

 

Can we use these photos for save-the-dates or announcements?

Definitely. These sessions are perfect for save-the-dates, announcements, or simply celebrating your relationship.
