As a colorado wedding photographer, I’ve had the honor of capturing love stories that stretch far beyond the mountains — and Ben and Sam’s journey from Garden of the Gods to Green Bay, Wisconsin is one I’ll never forget.
Their story began under the red rocks of Colorado Springs during a joyful engagement session and came full circle months later with a heartfelt winter wedding at Olde 41 Premier Banquet Facility in Green Bay. From golden sunlight to falling snow, every chapter of their journey radiated warmth, laughter, and connection.
From Colorado to Wisconsin — A Love Story Comes Full Circle
Before their beautiful Wisconsin wedding, I photographed Samantha and Ben’s engagement session at Garden of the Gods — a golden-hour shoot filled with laughter, soft light, and easy chemistry. It was one of those sessions where everything felt effortless.
You can take a look back at that day here:
Seeing them again in Green Bay months later felt like reconnecting with old friends. Their story reminded me why I love this work — photography that follows people through milestones, not just moments.
A Winter Wedding at Olde 41 in Green Bay
When December arrived, I traveled to Wisconsin to document their special day at Olde 41 Premier Banquet Facility, a venue known for its rustic charm and cozy elegance. Outside, fresh snow blanketed the landscape; inside, the atmosphere was warm and full of laughter.
Family and friends gathered as Ben and Sam exchanged vows surrounded by twinkle lights and evergreen decor that perfectly matched the season. Every frame was a balance of elegance and authenticity — the kind of moments that remind me why storytelling through photography matters so deeply.
