Hey there, I’m Bobak Radbin, a photographer based in the stunning city of Colorado Springs. I specialize in documenting life’s most meaningful moments — from elopements and engagements to family and branding sessions. Today, I’m sharing a heartwarming story from a recent family photography session at Garden of the Gods with Jessica, Brandon, and their wonderful teenage son, Myca.
The Beauty of Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods is one of my favorite spots in all of Colorado — it’s iconic for a reason. The bold red rock formations and open skies make it the perfect setting for family sessions that feel both adventurous and intimate.
As a Garden of the Gods family photographer, I’m constantly inspired by how the landscape transforms with each season. Whether it’s the golden glow of sunset or the soft light on a cloudy afternoon, this park always finds a way to make photos look timeless.

A Day Filled with Love and Laughter
From the moment Jessica and Brandon arrived with Myca, I knew this session would be something special. Their warmth and energy made everything flow naturally — no forced smiles, just genuine laughter and love.
One of my favorite parts of photographing families is capturing their connection as it unfolds — those little glances, inside jokes, and hugs that say more than words ever could.

Teen Energy & Natural Connection
Working with teenagers always brings a fun, spontaneous twist to a session, and Myca was no exception. His playful spirit added so much life to every shot — from exploring the trails to laughing with his parents between poses.
It’s those candid moments that make photography magic: real smiles, real movement, real memories.

Embracing Nature’s Canvas
As the sun dipped lower, the rocks at Garden of the Gods began to glow in soft amber tones — the kind of light every photographer dreams of. The colors, the laughter, and the connection all came together perfectly.
Every frame felt alive — a reflection of this family’s closeness and the beauty of Colorado itself.
