A Heartfelt Garden of the Gods Engagement Before Deployment: Andrea & Alonzo

Garden of The Gods Engagement Colorado

Some stories are filled with meaning before they even begin — and this was one of them.

I had the honor of capturing Andrea and Alonzo’s engagement session at the iconic Siamese Twins formation in Garden of the Gods, a location that never fails to bring stunning views and peaceful energy to a session. But what made this day truly unforgettable was the emotion behind it.

Andrea and Alonzo are one of those couples that just click. So sweet, so grounded. Their laughter came easy, and their love felt unshakable. This wasn’t just a photoshoot — it was their last time together before Alonzo heads off for his Army training in South Korea. A goodbye wrapped in joy, memories, and tenderness.

We soaked in the golden light, explored the red rock paths, and made space for quiet moments between the smiles. These photos feel even more meaningful knowing the journey ahead for both of them — a time apart, but never disconnected.

Andrea and Alonzo, thank you for letting me be part of this chapter. It was truly an honor to capture these moments. And just putting it out there — I’d be so honored to photograph your wedding day too, whenever and wherever that might be, big or small. If you ever feel like I’d be a good fit when the time comes, I’d love to be part of that chapter too.

Wishing you strength, love, and light for everything ahead.
