Love and Commitment at the Siamese Twins Formation
Some stories carry deep meaning before they even begin — and Andrea + Alonzo’s Garden of the Gods engagement session was one of those.
I had the honor of capturing their photos at the Siamese Twins formation, one of the park’s most iconic spots. Framing Pikes Peak through a natural rock window, this location always feels magical, but on this day, the emotion behind it made it unforgettable.
An Engagement Before Deployment
Andrea and Alonzo are one of those couples that just click. Their love felt grounded, full of joy and strength. But this wasn’t just an engagement session — it was also their last time together before Alonzo left for Army training in South Korea.
We soaked in the golden light, explored winding red rock paths, and made space for tender moments between the laughter. Every frame feels even more meaningful knowing the journey ahead for both of them: a time apart, but never disconnected.
For couples who want to plan their own engagement here, my Garden of the Gods Elopement Guide (Quick Start) has tips on timing, permits, and the best photo spots.

Gratitude and a Wish for the Future
Andrea + Alonzo, thank you for letting me capture this chapter of your story. It was an honor to preserve these moments before deployment.
And just putting it out there — I’d be so honored to photograph your wedding day too, whenever and wherever it might be, big or small. If you ever feel like I’d be a good fit when the time comes, I’d love to be part of that chapter as well.
Wishing you both strength, love, and light for the journey ahead.
