When I walked into DRYCO’s office in Fremont, California, I immediately felt the energy of a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Having met many of them before at one of their summer BBQ parties, it was great to reconnect — this time with my camera in hand to document their vibrant workplace culture.

As a Colorado Springs corporate photographer, I’m passionate about helping companies tell their story through images that feel real, connected, and human. This session with DRYCO was a perfect example of that philosophy in action.

A Close-Knit Team with Strong Roots

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that DRYCO isn’t just a workplace — it’s a family. Colleagues laughed and collaborated effortlessly, and you could sense the pride they had in being part of something they’ve built together over the years. Many employees have been with the company for more than a decade, which says everything about the loyalty and culture they’ve created.

That’s what I love to capture in corporate and branding sessions — authentic moments that show the heart behind a business. You can explore more examples of that approach in my Branding & Lifestyle Sessions.

Dogs, Friendship, and Laughter

One of my favorite surprises of the day? DRYCO is a dog-friendly office. Throughout the day, I found pups lounging beside their owners’ desks, wagging tails adding a little extra joy to the workspace. It’s small details like that that make a workplace feel like home — and those details are exactly what I aim to highlight in my photography.

If you’re a small business or creative team looking to document your culture and people, my Resources section has guides on preparing for professional branding or team photoshoots, from wardrobe ideas to setting up your environment.

Capturing Connection and Collaboration

The entire day was filled with candid, meaningful moments — spontaneous laughs over coffee, quick brainstorming huddles, and an epic team group photo featuring DRYCO’s iconic cement truck. Those moments of connection are what define strong teams, and they’re what make these sessions so rewarding to photograph.

The genuine camaraderie I saw reminded me of why I love photographing both businesses and families — because, at their core, both are about people who care about one another. You can see that same storytelling approach in my Family Photography Packages, where relationships and authenticity are always at the heart.

A Day to Remember

As I wrapped up the session and packed my gear, I couldn’t help but smile. I felt grateful — not just for the chance to photograph such a dedicated group, but for the reminder that great teams are built on trust, respect, and shared laughter.

Sessions like this are why I love my work. Whether it’s a construction company, a local restaurant, or a creative agency in Colorado, every business has a unique story worth capturing.
