A few months ago, I had the opportunity to photograph one of my favorite creative spaces in the city — the SCP Hotel in Colorado Springs. Located near the Broadmoor World Arena and right off Highway 25, this eco-conscious and community-driven hotel feels like a reflection of everything I love about Colorado Springs: authenticity, creativity, and connection.
Capturing the Spirit of SCP
At first glance, SCP Hotel might look like any other modern accommodation — but once you step inside, it’s clear that it’s something special. The space feels alive with warmth and intention. From the rustic wood textures to the minimalist design and soft natural light, everything about this hotel invites guests to slow down and connect.
For this personal branding photography session, my goal was to highlight the atmosphere that makes SCP stand out — one that balances relaxation with purpose. Every image was crafted to reflect the hotel’s mission: Soul, Community, and Planet.

Behind the Lens
As a photographer, I’ve always believed that strong branding images do more than just showcase a space — they capture a feeling. With SCP Hotel, that feeling was undeniable. The friendly smiles at the reception desk, the quiet comfort of the lounge, the inspiring coworking spaces — all of it came together to tell the story of a hotel that values people and the planet equally.
Through a mix of natural light and warm color tones, I wanted to create visuals that not only highlight the hotel’s design but also its soul.

Why Branding Photography Matters
Whether it’s a hotel, a restaurant, or a creative workspace, professional photography helps people feel what makes your brand unique. For businesses in Colorado Springs, this is especially powerful — your visuals are often the first impression for travelers, clients, and collaborators.
