Hi! I’m Bobak Radbin, a Colorado Springs photographer specializing in lifestyle, branding, families, engagements, and intimate weddings. For this session, I combined personal branding with pet photography at one of my favorite locations—Garden of the Gods—to tell the story of Allison and her pup, Gypsy.
From the first hello, it was obvious how close these two are. Gypsy’s ears perked at Allison’s voice, Allison’s smile softened the moment Gypsy leaned in—it’s the kind of connection I live to photograph. If you’re curious how I approach storytelling for professionals, creatives, and pet-loving brands, you can peek at my Branding & Lifestyle sessions and see how I blend personality, place, and purpose.
A Location That Feels Alive
Garden of the Gods is pure magic for movement-rich portraits—wide trails, dramatic red rock lines, and gorgeous reflected light that flatters people and pets. We kept things easy: short walks between spots, quick breaks for treats and water, and a pace that let Gypsy explore while Allison stayed relaxed in front of the camera. If you’re weighing outfits or styling for an outdoor session, I share timeless dress-and-layer tips across my Blog that translate beautifully to pet-inclusive shoots.
Natural, Candid, and Brand-Forward
Because this was a branding-forward session, we created a balanced gallery: approachable headshots for Allison, lifestyle frames that show her with Gypsy in real moments, and a few wider environmental portraits that feel editorial. I aim for a mix you can use everywhere—from websites and bio pages to social posts and print collateral. Session Flow with Pets
Dogs set the rhythm—and that’s the fun of it. We used commands Allison already had dialed in, prioritized safety (leash-on prompts near busy paths), and worked fast during those micro-windows when Gypsy’s focus was perfect. If you’re thinking about including your pup in a session, I’ve found the same planning mindset I use for families—snacks, layers, flexible timing—works great here too. You can explore options and planning notes inside my Family Photography Packages; many of those structures apply directly to pet-inclusive branding sessions.
A Quick Shout for the Park
